Overview:

The MCA Controller & Reporting Analyst - AVP is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function.

Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business.

Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information.

Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits.

Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist into MCA testing completion, BSER reconciliation, identifying operational risk, trade confirmation and settlement forecasts.
  • Takes responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness and delivery of complex deliverables.
  • Accountable for integrity of process, operations and associated results.
  • Responsible for detailed analysis of issues on transaction capture and all the related functions where the best course of action is not evident from the information available, but actions must be recommended/ taken.
  • Develops and exercises business plans, policies and procedures, and demonstrates an ability to lead projects, offer innovative.
  • Demonstrates good analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple projects.
  • Oversees the daily performance related to transactions capture pre-settlement activities of operations processes to satisfactory completion of the daily operational cycle.
  • Committed to process improvement, client service, control, and cost reduction and identifies any opportunity to implement process improvements, service enhancements, or technology enhancements.
  • Liaises with internal and external clients to assess service quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conducts discovery and due diligence activities with clients to meet their needs, solving complex client queries and consults with clients as required.
  • Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis to define problems and develop solutions.
  • Builds and maintains effective relationships with colleagues, management, internal/external clients and stakeholders; facilitates and enables change.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience.
  • Have subject matter expert in one (or more) specific skill sets, business areas or products.
  • Proven record of working on projects within team environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving experience.
  • Applications will vary by product and business area.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$79,120.00 - $118,680.00
