Finance Reporting Intermediate Analyst (Hybrid)
The Finance Reporting Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for the generation, tracking and submission of financial reports in coordination with the Finance Team. The incumbent will be working in the RWA Close and Operations team under Capital Reporting team. Incumbent will be responsible for supporting preparation of Basel 3 Credit Risk RWA results in Citi Basel systems and related internal Management Reporting data uploads and reviews. Incumbent will be required to quickly build an in-depth and thorough understanding of Basel reporting requirements and utilize knowledge of Citi Basel systems and process flows to ascertain and opine on identified issues.
Responsibilities:
- Support the analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies (local regulators, SEC, Fed, OCC, etc.) based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and US Basel rules
- Support preparing different management reports based on US Basel rules
- Assist with financial and management reporting, planning and analysis, metrics, monitoring and forecasting
- Document and establish business requirement documents, review test scripts, and interact with business partners to ensure successful migrations of key technology releases
- Identify and resolve problems using basic Finance knowledge, escalating as needed
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of previous experience required
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Python skill
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills (oral and written) and confidence to work all levels of management
- Possess strong team building, planning and work skills driven by process improvement
- Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions
- Previous working experience with Risk and/or Finance systems in financial services industry is preferred
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Ability to multi-task
- Must be a proactive and goal-oriented strategic thinker
- Working knowledge of related industry practices and standards
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$62,620.00 - $87,380.00
