Employee Relations Group Mgr- C14
The Employee Relations Group Manager is accountable for leading and directing a team of ER investigators who investigate complex and sensitive discrimination, harassment, and retaliation complaints from primarily current and former employees, and who facilitate disciplinary committees in accordance with the Global Disciplinary Review Policy. As part of the NAM leadership team the position is responsible for promoting a positive employee culture, driving operational efficiency and adherence to risk and control standards.
The position requires excellent writing and verbal communication skills. This position should be recognized as a subject matter expert and be a trusted partner both within the ER team and with partners across Citi.
Summary
The Employee Relations Group Manager is accountable for leading and directing a team of ER investigators who investigate complex and sensitive discrimination, harassment, and retaliation complaints from primarily current and former employees, and who facilitate disciplinary committees in accordance with the Global Disciplinary Review Policy.
Responsibilities
- Handles day-to-day team management including resource management, allocation of work within the team/project, performance management, and talent planning.
- Support and enhance skill and capability development of team members, including fact finding and writing skills, and provide guidance to team members to achieve consistent, efficient, and effective handling of complex employment related matters.
- Appropriately assess risk when decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for reputational risk, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policies, modeling sound ethical judgment regarding conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Oversight of independent HR-related investigations, primarily discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, including Ethics Office, executive and other escalations in order to thoroughly fact find, reach investigative conclusions.
- Facilitate and resolve disciplinary matters consistent with the Global Disciplinary Review Policy.
- Contributes to strategic planning for the NAM ER team.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience
- Possess ability to influence others
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Management experience is preferable.
Education:
- Bachelors/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$119,680.00 - $179,520.00
