Chief Data Office (CDO) Data Intake and Execution function is focused on providing project and product management expertise in support of the CDO Data operational model in order improve the integrity and quality of data used across Citi’s franchise processes.
The CDO Data Intake and Execution Lead Analyst will be accountable for intake demand management and planning of data related projects and initiatives that are focused on ensuring CDO complies with Citi’s Data Management Policy, which is highly visible to key regulators. This role requires basic commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. 

This role is to support the CDO Intake and Execution Group Manager. This role is an individual contributor role but may expand depending on workflow. This role requires someone who is dynamic, flexible, and can easily respond to quickly changing needs. The candidate must have the ability to handle ambiguity and complexity and be able to deliver on multiple responsibilities. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence, and convince others. This role requires strong project management skills, business knowledge, broad connections across all businesses as needed, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and regulatory knowledge. Executive level communication will be required as well.
Key Responsibilities
•    Project Manage CDO data management related initiatives across the Private Banking and Wealth Management including regulatory commitments, policy requirements, and business as usual deliverables.
•    Provide project management support to CDO Project and Program managers and ensure that detailed, tracked, monitored, and measured project plans are in place in support of the timely delivery of CDO Data Management projects.
•    Ensure that Project Management principles are maintained, delivered, and applied across the CDO data management projects and initiatives in compliance with corporate policy and best-practice standards.
•    Drive process standardization with consistent measures of progress, quality, benefits across all CDO Data projects.
•    Ensure rigor in planning with regards and not limited to resourcing, testing, budget, critical path identification and risks.
•    While the focus will be on managing CDO projects, timelines, etc., this role will also be leveraged to manage projects across the regions when required. This will be required when we are required to report on the status of a project at the CDO level.
•    Support across multiple time-zones and geographies, when required, in support of Regional Data teams when required to fill a gap in that area.
•    Experience in Scrum, Test Driven Development, and waterfall methodologies a plus.
•    Execution/Delivery experience of large transformation programs.
•    Participate in book of work reviews and health checks.
•    Coordinate as needed PM related regulatory inquiries and provide guidance during internal/external audits.
•    Lead on-demand project reviews and post-mortems.
•    Enforce program and project management governance guidelines and follow up on exceptions.
•    Establish clear escalation paths to raise Program Management concerns to CDO Senior Management team as appropriate.
•    Support planning and managing Book of Work (BoW) for the CDO organization.
•    Plan and perform Demand Management tasks including opening investments and work requests, coordinate execution of change requests.
•    Monitor and track the budgets allocated as part of BoW and prepare reports for executive summaries/presentations.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years relevant experience in a Data Governance/ Data Management/ Process Engineering or related area
  • Advanced understanding of Project Management methodologies and tools
  • Requires basic commercial awareness
  • Ability to monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes, with the ability to anticipate and balance needs of multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate effectively to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Detailed knowledge of the Citi PM Policy and Citi PM Standards (or similar) and knowledge of the interaction with industry level standards.
  • Proficient with using MS-Office tools including Excel and PowerPoint.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
