Applications Development Senior Manager

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Manager for its Tampa, FL location.

Duties: Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Coordinate applications systems analysis and programming activities. Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements. Resolve variety of high-impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. Provide expertise in the area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint. Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, including architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals. Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation. Six (6) years of experience, or four (4) years with a Master’s, must include: Identifying and defining necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements using SQL, Oracle SQL, Pl SQL Procedures, UNIX with SFTP/NDM, Autosys, SQL Loader, and Tibo/Kafka; Resolving high-impact problems through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards including customized workflow, counterparty classifications, and regulatory reporting including MRNCCD, Basel III, ISO20022 Address, and liquidity reporting; Writing complex queries and performing data analysis on large volume of data using SQL; Performing SDLC processes using tools including database, Unix, and Jira; and Using Jason, XML data, TIBCO, and KAFKA messages to implement new solution design or enhance existing ones to satisfy real-time business requirements by connecting different applications optimally.
