The Risk Reporting Officer is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the analysis and preparation of reports for Internal Management, Regulators, Auditors, etc. that detail risks inherent in Credit, Market, Operational or other Risk Portfolios. Reporting can cover a variety of areas including but not limited to: portfolio concentrations, limit exceptions, stress testing, loss reserves or high-risk exposures. Roles
  • Assists in Credit Bureau Reporting initiatives.
  • Participates in preparing regular and time-sensitive ad-hoc deliverables to the regulators and senior managements, closely working with industry and regional senior portfolio managers
  • Engages with teams across management Reporting to understand current Reporting deliverables.
  • Conducts process reviews to ensure Reporting processes are efficient and lean.
  • Understands larger themes across the firm in order to drive standardized views across reporting.
  • Recognizes what the end-state should Be, but execute smaller steps in order to materialize results quickly.
  • Works with technology to ensure system enhancements are aligned with the needs of management reporting.
  • Supports management with preparation of materials tracking automation progress.
  • Trains new team members in standard methodologies and tools.
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years consulting experience preferred.
  • Highly experienced with Excel, VBA, SQL / programming

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

The Global AML Regulatory Reporting Oversight (RRO) team is a global function within the BSA/AML Reporting, Insights and Integration (RII) function responsible for the overall governance and oversight of the AML reporting obligations and execution of those obligations as required by various regulatory bodies across the Citi Global footprint.  The Independent Testing Lead will be responsible for strategic oversight of independent targeted monitoring across the various execution teams responsible for the decisioning and filing of AML Reports globally in coordination with the RRO Head and other key stakeholders aligned to provide oversight and communication to the teams globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Global AML Regulatory Reporting Oversight team in identification of key opportunities for process efficiency and streamlining of program level reporting on enterprise-wide basis.
  • Undertaking strategic monitoring as deemed appropriate based on identified risks or oversight opportunities.
  • Building solid relationships with business risk, operations, technology, and training across all business lines and countries where applicable.  Possess a deep understanding of the data capture, flow and the operations that present and manage testing related to aggregation requirements and regulatory reporting decisions.
  • Work with Training to develop targeted risk-based training based upon need and positions
  • Developing and maintaining reporting disciplines to ensure issues are escalated timely and program status is accurately reflected in reports.
  • Enhancing data analysis and reporting to support ongoing monitoring of country level reporting requirements and the level of compliance with requirements

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years relevant experience in a Financial Institution associated with Compliance or Investigative Services
  • Demonstrated experience in a Global Compliance environment
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Ability to both work independently and collaborate with team members
  • Proficient in Excel and Word – ability to learn multiple system applications quickly

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
