The Global Design & Workplace Experience (GDWE) team is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the workplace design guidelines for the global corporate portfolio, which includes offices, retail branches, and data centers. In addition, the team performs portfolio analytics and drives innovation/smart building adoption.  Our efforts are a driving force behind a new way of working and the delivery of excellent user experience and an optimized real estate footprint. 

Central to success is a consistent and effective change engagement approach to transition staff to new spaces, technologies, and a new way of working.

The Workplace Change Engagement Lead is responsible for all aspects of the change engagement program for the Americas – including oversight of the standard change management approach for all projects.



Responsibilities:

  • Work with local RES personnel to understand, assess, and define the level of change management required on each project, create the scope of work, map project stakeholders, and define roles and responsibilities.
  • Conduct changes related activities associated with introduction and adoption of smart building elements & workplace related innovations, in support of the wider group remit around innovation and simplification.
  • Recognize, report, and escalate project risks; oversee remediation of risks raised.
  • Regularly report key metrics and project status. Identify risks but also to highlight best practices to incorporate e into the Citi standard approach.
  • Support project & change execution teams in refining design / operational requirements.
  • On occasion, conduct change management execution activities on small projects.
  • Actively engage with and oversee external Change Engagement execution consultants, guiding them through Citi’s standard 5-phase approach to Workplace Change and ensure high quality, consistent delivery.
  • Ensure all change activities are integrated into overall project plan (architects, technology, facilities, construction etc..)
  • Communicate to colleagues at all levels of the business to create awareness and drive adoption.
  • Set clear stakeholder expectations on how to prepare for the journey of change.

Qualifications:

  • 6 - 10 years diverse professional experience in change management or a related field: (i.e.  project or program management, workplace planning / programming, strategic planning, building construction. Etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering workplace change management engagements at scale for corporate offices.
  • Understanding of current workplace trends including applied knowledge of activity-based work strategies, concepts, and designs.
  • Experience managing multiple projects across geographies.
  • Experience working in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work in a team with diverse skill sets and cultures.
  • Proven ability to work well in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to communicate effectively, drive consensus, influence, and motivate.
  • Proven ability to act independently, be flexible, and pay close attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills; sound judgment and leadership skills.
  • A critical thinker with an understanding of process and relationships.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$129,840.00 - $194,760.00
