Citibank, N.A. seeks a Remedial Management Senior Officer for its New York, NY location.

Duties: As an integral member of the Special Assets (SA) Governance Team, provide oversight and subject-matter coverage over the Global Portfolio and the systems used across the globe. Lead Portfolio Analysis by partnering with the Regional Governance Coordinators and Data, Analytics, Reporting, and Technology (DART) to produce and analyze portfolio-related reports for SA Senior Management to manage the firm’s classified exposure and the potential profit and loss (P&L) impact from projected changes in the portfolio. Develop a granular understanding of the portfolio and standardize processes/systems used to manage the portfolio. Coordinate and lead the full process of SA presentations ensuring accuracy of the portfolio data. Responsible for the Global SA Staffing and Headcount Analysis. Coordinate and ensure consistency across all reports encompassing three business segments covered by SA, Institutional Clients Group (ICG), Citi Commercial Bank (CCB), and Citi Global Wealth (CGW). Coordinate the Cost of Credit (“CoC”) process globally for SA, including: ensuring accuracy of information in CoC extract managed by Finance; establishing relations with global Product Control and Finance and Risk Shared Services (“FRSS”) to ensure appropriate processing; coordinating with Risk Analytics to ensure Individually Assessed workflows are accurately represented in Current Expected Credit Losses (“CECL”) population; and providing guidance to SA teams on CoC process and coordinating and managing systemic solutions for CoC process. Coordinate and lead ad hoc global requests that would ensure a healthy, accurate Classified Portfolio and adhering to policies. Review, disseminate, co-ordinate, and monitor requests for information relating to the classified portfolio from internal and external stakeholders. Lead and participate in projects across Global SA, with a focus on system implementation, ICG, CCB, and CGW integration, among other projects across the Wholesale Credit Risk organization as necessary. Work with the SA Regional Heads, the SA Global Head, and the SA Governance Head on ad hoc requests and projects. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related finance occupation within the banking or financial industry. Five (5) years of experience must include: Wholesale credit risk governance and controls; Wholesale credit risk reporting; Wholesale credit risk project management; Regulatory wholesale credit risk frameworks; Cost of Credit, Individually Assessed Analysis, and Current Expected Credit Losses; Credit processes and wholesale credit policies and classifications; and Analyzing and interpreting requirements between Risk, Finance, Operations, and Technology. 40 hrs./wk.
