Product Developer
Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Product Developer for its New York, New York location.
Duties: Analyze data trends, breaches, and outliers to present to Risk Committee on new strategy, controls, and business use-case. Work with desk heads and Compliance on Conduct Risk Assessment. Work with Risk partners to set the appropriate thresholds for this activity based on research and the risk tolerance of the trading unit. Coordinate with trading venues and vendors to identify Algorithmic Product Development opportunities in the market. Work with desk heads to determine a roadmap for enhancements to the algo ecosystem. Work with Quants to assess changes required to the models. Review trading activity to ensure the strategy is properly categorized. Assess data and feed results back to the desk heads, surveillance partners, and ultimately the Governance Forum. Review trading data from external venues and regulatory repositories to build a view of expected trading volumes and activity. Works with the Technology groups to analyze system stats and measurements to ensure Behavioral and Performance tests scenarios are operating in the appropriate ranges. Work with policy owners and stakeholders to assess suggested policy changes against market structure. Review trading data, technology component performance metrics, and model outputs to construct a view on the proposed changes. Feed this information back to senior stakeholders in the business and the policy management team. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Finance, Operational Research, Economics or related field and 2 years of experience as a Product Developer, Rates eTrading Technology Analyst, or related position involving trading data analysis, product development, and risk management for global banks. 2 years of experience must include: Spread Products Fixed Income, credit, and rates related markets and products; R, Python; Data modeling and relational databases: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, KDBBI Analytical tools: Qlickview, Tableau; Project management; Market risk regulations: Basel, Volcker Rule, MiFID II.
