Third Party Management (TPM) is part of Citi’s Procurement and Third-Party Management organization and manages the risks associated with Citi’s use of and reliance upon Third Party relationships, including outsourced arrangements, across all business lines and locations. The TPM Program defines and oversees the implementation of policies and standards that provide controls to assess and manage risks related to Citi’s Third Party relationships and outsourcing arrangements. The goal of TPM is to support Citi’s selection and management of Third Parties capable of providing products and services in a safe and sound manner and at a reasonable cost and to manage the risks associated with Third Parties.

Citi is currently seeking a senior group manager of TPM Policy and Governance, supporting the Enterprise TPM organization. The candidate will be accountable to oversee the development, establishment, amendment, and review of TPM policy, standards, and procedures and to ensure consistency and alignment to the Citi Policy Governance framework. Third-Party Management encompasses external and internal (inter-affiliate) third parties and focuses on practices that are commensurate with the level of risk and complexity of the third-party engagements. The candidate must have Third Party Management and Control experience, strong communication skills and demonstrate a record of accomplishment and excellence in delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive policies, standards, and governance frameworks for the Enterprise Third-Party Management program.

  • Ensure alignment of TPM policies and standards with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead the review and update of TPM policies and standards in response to evolving risks, threats, and regulations

  • Collaborate with cross-functional and 2nd Lines of Defense stakeholders across the enterprise to develop and implement TPM program initiatives

  • Provide ongoing guidance and support to Business stakeholders on TPM policy interpretation and application

  • Establishes a review and approval process that subjects TPM policies, standards and procedures to the appropriate scrutiny and diligence, and results in publication of effective documents with prescriptive, measurable, and consistent requirements

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of TPM program documentation, including procedures, and training materials

  • Drive continuous improvement of the TPM program by identifying and implementing process enhancements and best practices

  • Monitor and report on TPM program performance metrics and compliance trends

  • Manage and maintain the TPM program governance framework, including risk assessments, audits, and reporting

  • Manage a diverse team of TPM professionals to consistently deliver timely and quality-driven results.

  • Lead and/or participate in Governance forums or committees

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in third-party risk management, compliance, audit, or a related field

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective policies, standards, and governance frameworks

  • Strong understanding of relevant industry best practices and regulatory requirements for third-party management

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Unquestionable integrity and objectivity, with ongoing commitment to excellence and the ability to operate in diverse environments and cultures

  • Strong managerial experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Law, or a related field (preferred).

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Certified Third-Party Risk Professional (C|TP3P)) a plus.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
