The Digital Asset (DA) Platform lead will be responsible for developing the Citi Digital Assets platform business strategy and develop a roadmap to align with Citi business priorities and readiness.  The Platform lead will be on be the forefront of technological advances, understanding solution provider capabilities, external developments, and how those link to Citi business initiatives. The Platform lead will partner with Citi tech team to evaluate various provider capabilities and leverage that to build Citi capabilities supporting our business and functions. The role will lead efforts to ensure best in class DA capabilities and provide business coverage for Citi DLT Center of Excellence (DLT CoE).

This role is meant for a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in DLT, their maturity and adapts them for application within the business. Recognized, deep subject matter expert with strong commercial awareness is important.

Excellent communication skills are required in order to negotiate internally and externally, often at a senior level with the right domain and subject expertise. The lead should demonstrate strong judgment and must be able to conduct in-depth quantitative or qualitative analysis to solve problems and develop new, innovative solutions.  The DA Platform lead is also required to think beyond existing solutions, assumptions or current knowledge of sophisticated areas.

The role will involve significant impact on a function and/or the business through making decisions that determine technical approaches and strategies for the area.

Responsibilities:

  • Defines DA platform strategy, tech capabilities and manage its strategic roadmap to align with business priorities and readiness
  • Leads efforts to drive Citi Digital Assets capabilities in a cross-business and cross-functional basis Be on the forefront of technological advances and drive deeper views into applications, capabilities and risks
  • Actively engages in client and solution discussions as well as tech provider assessments
  • Engages in internal and external stakeholder dialogues on tech considerations
  • Provides business coverage for DLT CoE across the core policy framework and drives control requirements
  • Provides strategic direction and feedback with respect to initiative or program creation, alignment to business goals, stakeholder management, executive communications
  • Builds and manages relationships with key stakeholders, organizations and business heads
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure program scope definition meets business objectives
  • Manages the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis

Qualifications:

  • Expert in technological and business considerations for DLT / blockchain and related technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Ability to demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
