Compliance Risk Mgmt Sr Analyst -AVP
Job Summary:
Citi’s Compliance Technology & Data team is looking for an experienced, motivated, and self-driven business analyst to join our team.
Our team is responsible for enabling compliance technology solutions, ensuring a seamless user experience, enhanced data quality, and simple solutions. We are the intermediaries between the system’s end-users and the technology development team, playing a critical role in helping to understand business requirements and translating them into simple, feasible solutions.
We are a fast-growing team, and you will be joining at the start of Compliance’s Transformation to establish a culture of innovation and design thinking. You will also get exposure to Agile methodology, gain in-depth knowledge of Citi’s systems and compliance frameworks, and have the opportunity to work with stakeholders and compliance SMEs to test and implement new and/or enhanced system solutions.
The ideal candidate to join our team will have “user acceptance testing” (UAT) experience in financial services or consulting; prior experience working in a compliance or risk-related function is desirable, but not required. To be successful in this role, curiosity is a must! We are passionate about exploring systems, questioning requirements and data, and bringing the team together to drive the best solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with cross functional teams - including IT - to plan and coordinate user acceptance testing as part of the “scrum” iterations
- Independently gather business/product knowledge in other to write and execute (as required) UAT
- Analyze business processes and translate them into test cases and scripts
- Support, as required, the documentation of user stories / functional requirements
- Report UAT progress
- Review issues & gaps identified in UAT with business stakeholders and IT and bring those items to closure
- Support, as required, the preparation and review of documentation for firm-wide use (including communications, training, user guides, etc.)
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ relevant experience in the financial industry or related technology or business analytics role for risk and control functions
- Experience in technology implementations, including developing testing processes, test scripts and user acceptance testing.
- Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative, and adaptive, able to navigate a complex organization
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of seniority
- Comfortable working with multiple data sources and transforming into meaningful insights
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project). SQL and data analytics are a plus.
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence or other IT project management platforms is a plus
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, database or visualization tools is a plus
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree; Advanced degree is a plus

$98,960.00 - $148,440.00
