Business Risk Officer

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Business Risk Officer for its New York, New York location.

Duties: Deliver integrated solutions supporting the Volcker Rule compliance program within Citi’s Business Risk & Control. Manage key Volcker control operations, including limit setting framework, data validation, issue resolution and appropriate documentation. Identify, prioritize, and proactively manage any dependencies, risks, exceptions, and issues. Work with Desk Heads and Global Market Risk, prepare and present materials for quarterly and annual reviews. Analyze work streams to understand the interdependencies impacting limit setting framework and project plan accordingly. Collaborate with technology teams and key stakeholders in driving deliverables and resolving issues. Assist with project management and drive implementation of key changes across a number of Volcker and Price Risk initiatives. Support other regulatory deliverables including but not limited to Intraday market risk monitoring framework and FRTB. Manage the department’s submissions for Citi’s internal Compliance and Risk and Controls programs. Use a wide range of data management and business intelligence tools, such as SQL, Python and Tableau, to enhance and automate recurring processes. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (3 or 4-year), or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field and 5 years of experience as a Risk Analyst, Risk Reporting Analyst, or related position involving risk data analysis, risk reporting, and risk control for a global financial services institution. 5 years of experience must include: Risk reporting and analytics for BAU, ad-hoc analysis and control monitoring; Big data storage, management and analytics platforms to manage data flows and associated controls; Business intelligence tools for data aggregation, automated reporting and understanding of internal data architecture and flows; Project management; Tools to ensure accountability, continuous execution of the controls and record keeping; SQL expertise to perform regular data validations and ad-hoc analysis, Python, Tableau; and Fluency in MS Office suite (Excel for pivot tables, formulas, VBA, Word for documentation, and PowerPoint for presentations).
