Citibank, N.A. seeks a Balance Sheet Management Group Manager for its Long Island City, New York location.

Duties: Apply financial computational methods and statistical analysis to gather and interpret liquidity data from data repositories and enhance liquidity reporting. Advise on regulatory and management liquidity metrics and design logic. Develop strategic solutions for regulator mandated liquidity reporting. Advise on Liquidity Regulations and provide business requirements to technology teams, and write test cases. Conceptualize and create solutions to resolve complex issues related to management reporting. Develop proof of concept reports, analytical reports and dashboards for technology team to automate. Communicate financial impacts and changes to business and country treasury teams to support financial decision making within the firm. Analyze raw data from data sources and escalate data quality issues for remediation based on the data models and formulas used in liquidity metrics. Maintain internal documentation to support overall reporting change from data sourcing to end use, for new reporting capabilities and enhancing existing capabilities. Review testing outputs and provide sign offs for implementation of business processes. Analyze data quality, design solutions for manual processes, and analyze financial implications of changes. Disseminate output, maintain documentation, and provide updates on project status. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Financial Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, Finance or related field and 5 years of experience as a Balance Sheet Management Senior Lead Analyst, FRI GP&P Senior Analyst, Regulatory Risk Analyst or related position involving quantitative research and risk analytics for the banking industry.  Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in stated fields at 7 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 5 years of experience must include: Risk analytics; Data analysis; Economics and financial accounting; Defining stress models; and Developing and documenting IT logic, rules and decision tree flow charts to meet business requirements. At least 2 years of experience must include:  Financial regulations including 2052a reporting, Liquidity Coverage Ratio Reporting, Net Stable Funding Ratio Reporting; and Basel Reporting.
