SVP – Payment Processing Operations Group Manager (Hybrid)
Job Description summary
The Payment Processing Operations Group Manager is a senior management-level position responsible for managing operations teams within the US Services Domestic Payable and Receivable Operations Group. The selected candidate, based on their experience / skills, will manage 1 or more of the Operational teams listed below.
ACH / Check Processing – Controlled Disbursements / Lockbox / Cash vault services / Statement Reconcilement, Receivables and Fraud SAR Filing.
These areas include a Vice president(s) and their team(s), that support Citi’s Core Operations Product suite.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple teams or a functional area and evaluate employee performance and provide recommendations for pay increases, budget and resource planning, promotions, terminations, etc.
- Engage in higher-level strategic planning with senior directors of areas, including Citi Product, customer Service, account management, Sales and Technology
- Accountable for end results of an area including budgeting, resources, policy formulation and planning.
- Engage in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area and manage complex and highly variable issues with substantial potential operational and client impact
- Apply comprehensive understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to enhance the operational end to end process that impact this as well as areas beyond self.
- Risk oriented mindset with proven track record of establishing controls in the operational setting.
- Experience managing remote staff
- Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant operations experience
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Ability to present ideas / opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to support multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
- Demonstrated leadership with a proven track record of achieving results and exceeding expectations.
- Consistently demonstrate strategic thinking and ability to make complex decisions in a fast paced environment
- Ability to enhance/ strengthen a process without compromising controls in an effort to reduce manual touchpoints and improve straight thru processing of transactions
Education:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master's degree preferred.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$132,160.00 - $198,240.00
