Business Execution – Financial Governance Analyst (Tech COO) – C12
As part of Technology’s Chief Operating Office, this role will drive initiatives aimed to develop a centralized Chief of Staff (CoS) organization, providing a consistent and standard way of operating, monitoring and running the organization. Responsibilities will include operational budgets, managing staffing plans, driving the communication agenda, policies, and procedures, support the training and development standards, managing risk and control, supporting the onboarding of 3rd party suppliers, the ongoing management of third party risk requirements and executing space planning strategy. This position will assist with development, execution and tracking of key strategic goals of the organization. Advanced experience in analytics, financials, and Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and the ability to turn data into information) is required for this role. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the overall financial management and staffing plans of the Tech COO Budget within Resources@Citi and in partnership with FP&A Partners and LFO
- Support the development and execution of long-term plans aligned with Citi-wide strategies (Location Strategy, Organizational Simplification etc.)
- Perform extensive analysis and dimension financial impact of staffing plans
- Align staffing plans with organizational construct and operating models across Technology
- Develop/Maintain reporting structure that aligns process/initiative area enabling clear accountability of expenses
- Work closely with senior managers and their teams across multiple functions creating an expanded network
- Establish and manage strong relationships with a diverse group of senior stakeholders across Tech COO and various Citi businesses and functions, to ensure adequate information sharing, reporting, alignment and communications are in place.
- Review and monitor the key performance indicators across the organization
- Provide central coordination of all business office functions across Tech COO
- Implement a comprehensive communications strategy covering both internal and external stakeholders
- Work with key stakeholders to build and enhance the Tech COO culture resulting in a highly motivated, engaged, integrated and diverse workforce
- Support productivity/ cost savings initiatives and analysis
- Support investment requests and alignment with Plan targets in Investments@Citi
- Partner with managers to help onboard 3rd party suppliers and support the various due diligence and ongoing processes around third-party risk
- Provide charge-outs billing breakdown for blue dollar expenses in PTS
- Support various ad hoc efforts across areas of real estate space planning, training, and other Corporate programs
- Promote rewards and recognition and voice of the employee programs across Tech COO
- Prepare reports, briefings and presentations on strategic initiatives and priorities, as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of experience with related work.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and relationship-building skills are required.
- Experience in budget Planning including knowledge of Resources@Citi
- Highly effective written and oral communication skills; excellent organizational skills.
- Able to adapt quickly to internal tools and processes.
- Strong team player who can work effectively in cross-organization situations.
- Demonstrated success in managing deliverables within aggressive timeframes; ability to cope under time pressures
- Possesses strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated development, planning and execution of medium range and long-term strategic plans
- Proven ability to conduct research/analysis, organize findings and build presentations
- Demonstrated project management experience
Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to work with large volumes of data from different sources.
- Excellent analytical skills, with an ability to deliver insight and conclusions in a concise and logical manner to seniors.
- Detail orientated with ability to also see larger picture.
- Clear/logical approach to problem-solving: breaking issues down to component parts and prioritizing the approach.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proactive and ability to work independently or as a team player, with the ability to develop strong relationships with numerous partners.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be proactive and goal-oriented.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and confidence to work with managers at all organizational levels.
