IT Business Lead Analyst
Citibank, N.A. seeks an IT Business Lead Analyst for its Jersey City, NJ location.
Duties: Analyze complex business processes to define and develop solutions to high-level problems. Provide expertise in equities domain with an advanced level of understanding of the principles of the trade lifecycle and applications programming to achieve technology goals. Contribute to technical direction and strategic decisions as a techno functional expert in all development and implementation phases, providing in-depth and sophisticated analyses to define problems and develop innovative solutions. Develop application methodologies and standards for program analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. Review data models to be onboarded or enhanced and ensure that defined standards are followed and that models are capable of handling current and future expectations. Lead impact analysis for changes to existing systems/data flows for downstream consumers and plan changes accordingly. Create project documentation including Business Requirement Documents, Functional Requirement Documents, Data Flow diagrams, Use cases, and Test cases. Review test cases and participate in User Acceptance Testing. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation analyzing complex business processes within the financial industry. Five (5) years of experience must include: Working in Capital markets with a focus on the Cash Equities domain leveraging an advanced level of understanding of the Order and Trade lifecycle to analyze complex business processes and develop innovative solutions to achieve business goals; Contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, performing User Acceptance Testing, and participating in process design; Handling new system onboarding and enhancement requests and creating and maintaining user stories and project backlogs in JIRA, and planning and prioritizing deliverables as per business requirements; Creating project documentation including Business Requirement Documents, Functional Requirement Documents, Data Flow diagrams, Use cases, and Test cases; Performing System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing and providing delivery of complex projects and solutions; Performing impact analysis of existing systems and data flows for downstream consumers and analyzing various business and regulatory reports including CAT (Consolidated Audit Trail).
