The Supplier Management Lead is responsible for developing relationships with users across the business (Hiring Managers, Staffing Office, Business Execution Leads) to successfully onboard all contractor roles within USPB, Wealth, and Foundations.

Responsibilities

Onboarding:

  • Performs on-boarding, maintenance and offboarding activities for the Non-Employee Management System (NEMS).

  • Perform Workforce Tracking: Rate Analysis, location and contractor attrition reporting work across Digital organization, Citi Staffing office, Citi enterprise Supply Chain (ESC), and Finance Independent projects and assignments as needed in the broader Business Management team.

  • Contributes to and / or creates internal communications. Creates and prepares reports, metrics and presentations. Provides expertise in own area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of the sub function.

  • Understand and ensure compliance against Citi Policies regarding Non-Employee management.

  • Follow documented processes regarding Non-Employee management.

  • Acting as the first point of contact for queries from clients and escalating as appropriate for resolution.

  • Managing a high-volume workload of queries to resolution through emails, telephone calls and instant messaging tools.

Labor/Software Support:

  • Responsible for consistent supplier management and governance

  • Supplier risk management including initial risk assessments and ongoing monitoring as a Business Activity Owner (BAO)

  • Responsible for consistent execution of contracts in accordance with Citi Expense Management Policy (CEMP) and Citi’s Third-Party Management (TPM)

  • Statement of Work (SOW) management including requests, approvals, resource onboarding and off-boarding

  • Work across Technology Organization, Citi Staffing Office, Citi Enterprise Supply Chain (ESC), and Finance

  • Independent projects and assignments as needed in the broader Business Management team.

  • Contributes to and / or creates internal communications. Creates and prepares reports, metrics, and presentations. Provides expertise in own area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of the sub function.

  • Works on mergers & acquisitions and outsourcing / right placement activities.

  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives.

  • Acts as advisor or coach to new or junior-level employees; allocates work. Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.

  • Directly impacts the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services. Persuades and influences others through comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills.

  • Act as first point of contact across full lifecycle including supplier selection, onboarding/due diligence, contract negotiation, performance management, contract renewals and off-boarding/termination.

  • Ensure quick identification and remediation of supplier issues, drive down issue recurrence and overall issue rate across suppliers.


Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years experience

  • Must be extremely organized, motivated and a self-starter

  • Ability to prioritize is key as is ability to juggle several tasks at once.

  • Must work well under pressure whilst, enthusiastic, hard-working and positive

  • Desire to improve processes

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions

  • Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts / requirements and related product / functional knowledge

  • Team player and relationship management skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines

  • Willingness to ask questions, challenge the process and seek out answers

  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

  • Experience working through a competitive bid process (including RFP, evaluation criteria, demos/interviews, scoring, and selection)

  • Relationship/contract management expertise - defining & overseeing SLA performance.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
