VP, Wealth Risk Framework Officer / Risk Policy Officer - C13 (Hybrid)
The Risk Policy Officer / Risk Framework Officer is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business.
Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
Responsibilities:
- Support and execute CPPAC Governance in BAU capacity / also support on transformation efforts
- Support Wealth Risk Framework including executive presentations, programme governance, minutes RAIDs, PowerPoint presentations
- Support the Wealth Path to Strong updates / placemats and governance materials
- Manage individual projects across the BoW and help drive these forward e.g. Wealth Risk Website
- Work together with counterparts from Business, Sales, Credit Operations, Decision Management, Operations & Technology to ensure appropriate outcome for deliverables.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience in Analytics/Decision Management will be desirable
- Highly ethical and with integrity
- Ability to work well within a team and take direction
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Excellent PowerPoint / presentation skills - adept at presenting effectively to audiences of various sizes and adapting style as necessary
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective listening skills
- Candidates must have effective negotiation skills, a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating Risk issues, strength in sustaining autonomous views
- Able to work across levels in risk management and also with other operations and business teams
- Able to identify and influence key decision makers across various levels and functions within the organization
- Able to work in a rapidly changing external environment and support business in a highly competitive and challenging market
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
