Loan Quality Analyst - Irving, TX (Hybrid)
The Loan Quality Analyst reviews loan documentation and product processor data to monitor and assess accuracy of processes and data. The Loan Quality Analyst integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area and applies to related industry practices. The Loan Quality Analyst has a good
understanding of how the Quality Assurance Team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. The Loan Quality Analyst will develop a working knowledge of industry practices and standards and must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. This position will have a limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided.
Responsibilities:
- Review loan documentation to the product processor and applicable applications and assess for accuracy and guidance on critical data elements
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely fashion following established guidelines
- Under supervision, administers defined procedures, analysis and report preparation
- Refers more complex problems to their supervisor or manager for resolution
- May be required to train and mentor, however, will not have direct management
responsibility (i.e., does not hire / terminate staff) - Focuses on day-to-day deliverables, developing and delivering upon subject expertise
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular
consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by
driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying
sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and
escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications:
- Fundamental knowledge of business processes, applications, systems, and tools used in loan processing
- Adequate knowledge of loan products and loan services
- Previous knowledge of risk types, policies and control measures and processes
- Fundamental compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, and adhering to policies
- Expertise in evaluative and ethical judgment to make decisions
- Understanding of identifying, mitigating, resolving, managing, and escalating risks and issues
- Ability to view multiple perspectives, prioritize, and adapt
- Fundamental ability to think strategically, considering the end-to-end, adjacent impacts to the broader system; to formulate ideas and innovate
- Basic ability to analyze and think critically and conceptually and interpretively to solve problems
- Includes ability to identify opportunities, assess needs, conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses, synthesize insights and provide recommendations
- Effectively communicate (written and verbal) and present with diplomacy
- Ability to build and manage relationships through advising, collaborating, influencing, negotiating and persuading
- Loan IQ exp. is a plus
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

$48,840.00 - $68,160.00
