Then bring your personality and technical product knowledge across Equities to a highly motivated and successful desk, which is responsible for providing information and analytics to the most senior managers across Markets as well as the Trading and Sales teams across Prime.

By joining Citi’s Prime Intelligence desk, your will be part of a growing business within the Equities platform and have accountability for driving growth across the banks Prime Finance business using the power of Fintech.

You will be joining a global desk, only recently established, to help build the Prime Intelligence platform through collaboration with Business, Product Development, Quants, and Finance to leverage business know how and analytical skills to conceptualize tools and dashboards.

What you will do will be varied day to day, but the key drivers for the role are:

• Primarily you will build Proof of Concepts covering end to end analytics from balances, portfolio characteristics, revenues, P&L explain, business and platform KPIs, client scorecards and benchmarking.
• Supporting senior management and desk heads with data and insights to influence Prime business decision making and strategy and track progress.
• Collaborate with Sales towards balance and revenue growth across cash and synthetic prime finance clients by generating high value client content (analytics / return reviews) and face off to Treasury and Counterparty relationship functions across some of the biggest HF clients globally.

What we will need from you:

• High proficiency in Programming with Python, SQL and VBA a must.
• As this role utilizes an overall understanding of markets and key drivers of profitability including - equities financing, margin lending, stock loan, balance sheet, risk weighted assets, margin, liquidity, and refinancing among other areas the successful applicant must also have had experience working ideally as part of a Prime Finance business, or at least a broader Equities/Fixed Income Financing business.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with both internal staff, external clients, and senior business leaders.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills and adept in working with large data sets, complex and multivariable problems, and fast paced environments.
• Educated preferably to Masters degree, in a STEM subject.
