Intm Assoc Credit Maint Anlyst - B11 - GETZVILLE
The Intermediate Associate Credit Maintenance Analyst is an entry level position responsible for capturing and recording data related to credit exposure, obligors and facilities in relevant credit systems in coordination with the Operations - Services team. The overall objective of this role is to maintain data quality in credit systems, monitor credit exposure and adhere to overall credit policies.
Responsibilities:
- Support business in new credit origination, pull due diligence reports as necessary, and build/maintain credit files or other documentation required by credit risk policy
- Contact significant clients directly to obtain financial statements, tax returns, and accounts receivable aging, analyze high net worth clients and recommend credit worthiness based on due diligence findings as well as analyze risks associated with lending
- Prioritize and process incoming credit requests and reviews for accuracy and completeness as well as interpret to convert to concise and accurate credit facilities
- Monitor and coordinate timely clearing of pre-closing requirements including conditions precedent, Basel collateral reporting requirements, and documentation
- Facilitate and execute proper set up of soft cell credit exposure including Automated Clearing House (ACH) and fed fund check clearing as well as perform data integrity reviews
- Coordinate with Risk Management, Finance, and Operations to ensure reporting requirements are met and loan maintenance requests are completed accurately
- Analyze and review information obtained from Credit Approval Process and loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and quality as well as analyze final loan documentation to ensure consistency with credit approvals and conditions precedent have been satisfied
- Secure collateral, monitor collateral adequacy, and notify Relationship Manager (RM) if escalation is warranted
- Monitor credit availability, approve requests, and coordinate disbursements with Loan Operations
- Monitor intra-day and end-of-day exposure against limits where relevant, prioritize exceptions detected, and escalate as needed
- Review credit worthiness for existing clients and credit facilities in a relationship with expertise in complex credits and significant relationships
- Analyze/monitor covenants and reporting requirements such as accounts receivables aging, inventory reports, and tax returns
- Provide senior subject matter expertise to Relationship Managers, Product Managers, and Portfolio Managers
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in reviewing credit documentation, knowledge of policies, guidelines, and procedures surrounding extensions of credit.
- Knowledge of Institutional Lending and Credit products, experience in risk data management is a plus.

- Demonstrates general computer literacy. Experience in CitiRisk and/or Helios systems
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
- Demonstrated analytical skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$55,440.00 - $77,360.00
