The Data Quality Lead Analyst plays a crucial role in safeguarding the firm's data integrity and resilience. This individual will champion data quality throughout the data lifecycle, from sourcing and provisioning to consumption, ensuring adherence to all established standards. By proactively identifying, remediating, and preventing data quality (DQ) issues, this analyst directly mitigates risk to the firm. A strong analytical mindset, advanced problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach are essential. This role will be instrumental in enhancing the firm's overall data quality and will contribute to key initiatives within Stress Testing, including Global Systemic Stress Testing (GSST) and Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR).

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies related to data quality. This includes identifying and assessing potential risks, developing action plans, and monitoring the effectiveness of mitigation efforts.

  • Liaise with other areas of the firm to understand data challenges and solutions, and/or run data consumption demand and requirements.

  • Develop and implement proactive data quality controls and processes to prevent future DQ issues. Collaborate with upstream data providers to ensure data quality at the source.

  • Analyze existing data across various systems to identify and remediate data quality issues. Develop and implement solutions to improve data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness.

  • Effectively communicate data quality issues and remediation efforts to senior stakeholders through clear and concise presentations.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience, Banking or Finance industry preferred

  • Proven experience working with Stress Testing metrics, including data extraction, analysis, and reporting.

  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to senior leadership and diverse audiences.

  • Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives.

  • Proactively identify and troubleshoot data-related problems, proposing and implementing effective solutions.

  • Experience with data visualization/analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, SQL) is a plus.

Required Skills:

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred

$100,800.00 - $151,200.00
