Loans Specialist (Hybrid)

Loans Specialist in Loans Agency team will be responsible  for daily processing of drawdown, rollover, repayments, prepayments, rate fixing and all aspects of loan processing area relating to Loans Administration and Facility Agency. This is a senior position that requires relevant Loans Operations experience.

What you will do:

• Ensure accurate set up and maintenance of loan transactions within Solvas, including diarizing and inputting of loan rollovers, reconciliation of cash amounts and liaising with internal and external counterparties when appropriate.
• Act as a focal point for allocated clients
• Build, develop client relationships and manage issues
• Utilize data analysis tools and methodologies, in conjunction with professional judgement to make process improvement recommendations
• Resolve settlement related issues and escalate as needed; recommend solutions to resolve complex issues
• Participate in the implementation of assigned projects, including new products, services and upgrades to platforms
• Identify policy gaps and formulate new policies to enhance the streamlining of trade flow processes
• Monitor and provide solutions to errors to minimize risk to the bank
• Provide informal guidance, and/or on the job training to new team members

What we'll need from you:

• Relevant experience
• Experience in Loans Admin and Facility Agency advantagous
• Experience of Solvas Suite advantageous.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn on the job, respond quickly to changing requirements and to take ownership for self-improvement
