Citi Finance is responsible for the firm’s financial management and related controls. We manage and partner on key Citi initiatives and deliverables, such as our quarterly earnings process and ensuring Citi’s compliance with financial rules and regulations. The team comprises chief financial officers who partner with each of our businesses and disciplines including controllers, financial planning and analysis, strategy, investor relations, tax and treasury.

In this role, you’re expected to:

Play an integral part in the executing the firm-wide, cross-functional plans necessary to close the gaps identified by the Consent Order and other relevant regulatory-focused deliverables over a multi-year timeframe.
The candidate will work with the exposure lead to develop and implement audit-style testing protocols to ensure the transparency and appropriateness for data inputs, calculation logic & reporting outputs of RWA balances.
Build and develop extensive partnership with colleagues across Finance, RWA workstreams, technology and data governance teams, 2nd Line of defense functions including the Capital Planning Review Group.

Responsibilities:

Providing support to developing and employing an "audit-style" approach to RWA quality assurance
- Define and organize testing & execution to RWA quality assurance reviews.
  - Coordinate and manage testing & execution activities.
  - Develop and define testing & execution approaches, document testing activities, status, and report results.
- Conduct process and system testing, including writing test scripts, documenting issues and disseminate results.
Manages one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products, and considered analytical or procedural "expert" representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables.
Resolves complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines or processes.
Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

5-8+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry preferred.
Understanding of financial products, capital markets &/or institutional banking is required. Understanding of Basel capital rules is preferred.
Quick learner with excellent communication skills, team orientation, and ability to work with counterparts in different areas of organization.
Proficient in using data management and analysis tools including basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Education:

Bachelors degree
