Officer, Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analysis - JPN
Business Analyst for FX e-commerce and front-end applications is a senior level position for handling analysis of business requests and application rollouts for Japan FX business. Would drive multiple projects simultaneously and carry out Business Analysis activities.
In this role, you’re expected to:
- Owning business/ functional requirements, documenting solution and managing end to end project delivery
- Understanding Business priorities and working as a liaison between Business and Development teams
- Maintaining Book of Work and facilitating prioritization discussions with key business stakeholders
- Managing relationship with Business and taking ownership for providing regular project updates to key business and technology stakeholders
- Reviewing regional/ global application changes, assessing the risk/ impact and communicating with local Business
- Communicating key project risks, defining mitigation strategies and managing resolution
- Developing test strategies, documenting test scenarios and coordinating User Acceptance Testing across front to back tech stack
- Developing Project Plans and UAT Runbooks
- Develop Subject Matter Expertise on business processes and technologies
- Working with development and support teams to resolve production issues and identify root cause
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
Mandatory Knowledge/Experience:
- Strong Business Analysis experience
- Proven ability to manage complex and high-risk projects with substantial impact and balancing potentially conflicting needs
- Strong English communication skills
Desirable Knowledge/Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst/ Project Manager
- Functional knowledge of Foreign Exchange products
- Project Management skills and experience
Skills:
- Practical experience in analysis and project managing end-to-end delivery
- Strong analytical/ problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder expectations
- Flexibility to work with a global team, across geographies and time zones
- •Any business analysis or project management experience in Clearing will be a bonus
Qualification:
- Educated to degree standard preferable
- PMP/Formal PM training will be a plus
- Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience.
