ローン業務における当該ポジションは、シティバンクが法人顧客に対して提供している融資に関連して、バック及びミドルオフィス業務(エージェント業務を含む)に従事していただける方を求めています。

当該ポジションにおいて期待される役割・行動

-シンジケーションローンのエージェントバンクとしての契約書のレビュー、CP書類等の確認、期中における案件のスケジュール管理及びプロセスの実行、アドホックなイベントの対応。

-社外の関係者との調整。（ボロワー、レンダー、ECA, 弁護士事務所など、英語でのやり取りを含む）

-ローンの関連の記帳の為の指示書の作成、コベナンツの管理、社内の関連部署との連携、システムへの入力。

-ローン業務のエキスパートとしての業務推進及び課題分析によるローンに関するサービスの提供への貢献。

-理解力、判断力、コミュニケーション能力を駆使してのローン関連の複雑な問題への対応。

-割り当てられたプロジェクトへの参加・遂行。

-テクノロジー・システムを駆使したプロセスの自動化の推進 (Loan IQなど)。

- ジュニアスタッフの指導・育成。

- ビジネス意思決定に際しては以下のリスクを多面的に勘案した上で判断を行うことが求められる。シティグループのレピュテーション、顧客及びその資産、各種法令及び規定の遵守、個人の行動規範及びビジネス慣習における倫理性、透明性を持ったエスカレーション及びレポーティング。

求められるスキル

-5-8年程度の銀行もしくは金融機関での事務経験

-2-3年程度のローン関連の実務経験があるとより望ましい

-読書きおよび口頭での中級程度の英語コミュニケーション能力

-ネイティブレベルの日本語コミュニケーション能力

Job Description:

Citi’s Operations and Technology (O&T) enables Citi to achieve its day-to-day operational and long-term growth goals, enabling execution of Citi’s strategy by providing services, technical solutions and infrastructure across the bank.

This role is an intermediate level position responsible for handling Back and Middle Office process including Agent Bank role in relation to Loan transactions offered to Corporate Clients provided by Citibank N.A., Tokyo Branch.

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Review syndication loan documentation, confirm condition precedent documentation, manage schedule, execute on-going process and take care ad-hoc event as Agent Bank.
• Interact with external customers and counterparties (Borrower, Lender, ECA and Law Firm etc. including communication in English)
•  Prepare booking instruction, manage covenants documentation, coordinate with internal counterparties, input transaction in Loan systems.
• Serve as analytical or procedural expert for Loan Product processing deliverables/initiatives
• Deal with most loan related problems independently and has some latitude to resolve complex issues
• Participates in, and supports the implementation of, projects as assigned, applies project management skills to support initiatives
• Assist with the development of new techniques / systems and streamlining Loan Product processing activities for more electronic and systematic transaction processing  (Loan IQ etc)
• Provide guidance and assistance to junior staff
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

- 5-8 years of Banking or Financial institution’s Experience

- 2-3 years of Loan Operation Experience is preferable.

- English - Business level (Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.)

- Japanese - Native level
