Position Overview: The Vice President of Operations Change Management will be responsible for driving and managing change initiatives across the Wealth operations. This executive role will focus on optimizing operational efficiency, enhancing client experiences, keen focus on risk rationalization and ensuring the successful implementation of change projects in line with the bank’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy that aligns with the bank’s overall vision and objectives. Provide strategic direction and leadership to drive change initiatives and ensure successful outcomes.

• Change Management Framework: Design and establish a robust change management framework that incorporates best practices and industry standards. Ensure consistency in the application of change management processes across the Wealth Operations organization.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leaders, department heads, and key stakeholders to identify change needs, address concerns, and ensure alignment with business goals. Act as a liaison between operations and other departments to facilitate smooth transitions.

• Project Oversight: Oversee and manage major change projects, including process improvements, technology implementations, and operational restructures. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with change initiatives and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

• Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of change initiatives. Regularly review and analyze performance data to drive continuous improvement.

• Change Communication: Develop and execute a comprehensive communication plan to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the change process. Address concerns and manage resistance to change effectively.

• Team Mentorship: Collaborate with the broader Change Management teams and Business Office teams to build a high-performing change management organization. Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in change management. Apply insights to enhance the bank’s change management capabilities and drive operational excellence.

• Skills:

Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale change initiatives.
Strong understanding of banking operations, processes, and regulatory environment.

Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in change management methodologies and tools.

Qualifications:

• 10-15 years of experience in project management, primarily in financial services

• Experience in Private Bank and Retail Bank Operations functions.

• Experience in interaction at Board/Executive management level of businesses

• Broad understanding of business practices in the Wealth Management area

• Demonstrates capacity to work in highly pressured & volatile environments.

Education: • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
