In this role, you are expected to:

Loan Doc & Proc Analyst 2: Is a position in Corporate Lending Operations and will be responsible as a maker / checker to review loan documentation & administrative support to various Corporate Loan Business. The overall objective of this role is to support different businesses in extending loans to eligible customers by collaborating with multiple teams

  • This role will review loan documentation while providing support to a variety of tasks related to the loan process activities including independently processing and closing loans within a complex loans’ operation environment

  • Thorough understanding of ever-changing regulatory requirements applicable to the product

  • Applies in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area to resolve issues related to loan documentation processes

  • Identifies loan related control deficiencies and implements appropriate procedures and solutions to mitigate any risk or control losses

  • Directly impacts the area through shared responsibility for delivery of end results and formulation of procedures/process improvement

  • Provides value-added perspective or advice that contributes to the development of new techniques and the improvement of the loan documentation processes for the area

  • Resolves complex problems where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of loan procedures and industry standards

  • Creates, develops and maintains effective relationships with colleagues, management, internal/external stakeholders, and seeks to understand their needs and provides solutions

  • Preparation, Validation and timely submission of regulatory reporting’s

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

As a successful candidate, you would ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience

  • Fundamental knowledge in mortgage, loans proccessing.

  • Sound knowledge of financial products, accounting principles and practices

  • High degree of numeracy, an analytical approach to tasks and problem-solving skills are essential

  • Ability to work under a fast-paced environment, detail-oriented

  • Can work well under pressure and multi-task

  • Candidate should be open to work on rotational shifts covering APAC region and work on weekends
