Technology/Cyber Issue Data Quality Coordinator

This new role is part of Technology Chief Operating Office's Issue Data Quality team and is primary focused on Issue Management.  The role will include the quality review, overseeing and challenging new and existing control issues both within and impacting Technology Risk. 

The role will combine expertise in internal controls, issue management, risk and control and self-assessment processes to ensure the identified Tech Risk issues and associated remediation across Citi are remediated with the highest levels of discipline and in line with standards. 

Responsibilities:

• Works closely with business partners on findings and makes recommendations on improving practices.

• Work with Risk & Control colleagues across Citi to collate and report on open issues from all sources owned by and impacting Technology

• Assist in the development of issue management processes, tools and analyses to proactively identify delays and stress to ensure impact to delivery is mitigated

• Help challenge issue owners to deliver actions as efficiently and effectively as possible

• Present to stakeholders about status, themes and trends for open issues

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years experience in technology risks and controls, issue management and the lifecycle of an issue (from identification to closure)

• Understanding of Citi’s MCA process

• Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive with the judgement and authority to provide insightful commentary to senior stakeholders.

• Ability to drive change to business practices by working effectively across a global organization.

• Self-starting with the ability to multitask and prioritize

• Project management and change capabilities are essential

• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy

• Issue Quality Coordinator (IQC) are responsible to perform a quality review as described in the Global Issue Management Policy and the current Issue Data Quality review guidelines.

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree​
