Project Management Senior Analyst
Overview:
- The Global Initiatives Delivery team is dedicated to supporting Controllership on the highest priority global initiatives, aiming to accelerate delivery on both external and internal commitments while mitigating risks. This is accomplished through a comprehensive understanding of the project requirements, close collaboration with project owners to liaise with Technology, Finance Quality Assurance, Risk & Controls, Internal Audit, and Finance Org PMO, and management of expenses effectively.
- As a Project Management Senior Analyst, you will support and participate in complex initiatives, programs, and projects through all activities in a project/program life cycle by owning management of core PM processes (i.e., risk/issue management, reporting, plan management, etc.). This position offers opportunity for growth while supporting all activities within a project’s life cycle.
What you’ll do:
- Support planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a project/program.
- Drive end results of the project as a representative of the business.
- Prepare, maintain, and submit clear and concise activity/progress reports and time recording/management reports.
- Coordinate management reporting and communications, up to EMT level.
- Assess project risk potentials and discover potential problems before they occur.
- Apply a proactive approach in routinely tracking the project participant progress against project goals.
- Proactively follow escalation and change control processes.
- Ensure adherence with Citi’s program & project management policies, standards, procedures, and data quality (DQ) validations.
What we’ll need from you:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- PMP certification strongly preferred
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other reporting and communication tools
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals.
- Knowledge of gathering, reporting, trend analysis and creation of performance metrics.
- Ability to identify risks and issues, and liaise with stakeholders to determine mitigation and remediation plans
- Coordinate project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on time, cost, and quality.
- Manage client expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them; clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate items where needed.
- Some knowledge of risk and controls and assessment processes.
