Director, Product Manager (Data & Analytics)
The role is a senior level Product management position accountable for delivering a first-class experience for consumers of Investor Services data. Working with each of the Investor Services product and technology teams, the role involves organizing, enhancing and building scalable data products that are fit for purpose, and supports the needs of internal stakeholders and clients.
The role requires an individual with strong data expertise, with specialist Investment management industry experience. You have previously built, led and scaled data product teams working across Engineering, Operations and Product teams. You have experience modeling Middle Office, Fund Accounting, and Custody domains inclusive of Reference & Static data-sets.
You are a change agent, curious and passionate about data and technology, with critical focus on delivering business outcomes through data.
Responsibilities:
Work with data consumers to capture and prioritize their needs and convert into value
Deliver a suite of consistent, high quality, easy to use Investor Services data products for internal users and clients.
Work with Product counterparts to deliver well defined data products using a robust, scalable publish to consumer architecture.
Develop and maintain partnerships across the Services organization to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Define, establish, implement and document reusable, consistent patterns that reduce time to market and enhanced value for data consumers.
Close collaboration with data governance and data stewards for consistent application and adoption of policies, controls, and programs to ensure data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.
Define and implement metrics-driven priorities for client feedback and prioritization.
Collaborate with Data Modelers across the firm (multiple data domains and functions) to drive appropriate alignment to standards.
Identify and expedite resolution of issues through root cause analysis and prioritization processes.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
15+ years relevant experience, Investment Management industry preferred.
Demonstrated experience in the disciplines of Data modeling, data Governance with strong focus on Investment Management domains.
Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Thought leadership experience – via Industry events, journals and targeted articles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with experience in using Data tools (ETL, BI, Python, SQL).
Attention to detail is a must, with excellent verbal, written and relationship skills to be used to interact with a global group. Develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels
Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives
Optimizes work processes by balancing effective / efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement. Demonstrates ability to balance between seeing the “big picture” while paying close attention to detail
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred

$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
