The role/ Responsibilities 

The Business Management team is responsible for the groups ongoing planning, administrative and organisational development activities.  This includes management of the technology budget, headcount planning, vendor management, senior management reporting, leading culture and communications initiatives as well as providing ongoing support to the Senior Leadership team.

  • The Business Execution analyst is accountable for management of complex / critical / large professional disciplinary areas, namely Market Treasury, Margin and XVA.

  • Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. 

  • Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. 

  • Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. 

  • Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. 

  • Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. 

  • Some external communication may be necessary. 

  • Accountable for the end results of an area.

  • Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. 

  • Primarily affects a sub-function.

  • Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. 

  • Responsibility of budget and planning, facilitating hiring requests of the Technology organization, reviewing and maintaining the overall budget & book of work.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Experience operating as a Business management / chief of staff / COO capacity

  • Experience in project administration and background in operational areas.

  • Experience in finance and processes administration.

  • Excellent influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills with key stakeholders and Senior Management.

  • Ability to engage at the senior management level and demonstrated communication experience at different levels of organization.

  • Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts / requirements and related product / functional knowledge

  • Desire to improve processes

  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative

  • Demonstrated ability to grasp and assimilate complex information and make or influence fact-based decisions.

  • Demonstrates exceptional communication skills, influences and negotiates with senior leaders (across functions) and articulates complex recommendations.

  • Able to build credibility and trust with the senior management team across the regions whilst developing strong partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.

  • Must work well under pressure whilst, enthusiastic, hard-working and positive

Nice to have 

  • Experience managing and/or partnering with technology functions – preferred 

Education:

  • University degree (Master's preferred) or equivalent experience operating in a similar role
