What We do / The Team

You will join the Equity Derivatives technology team in Belfast, specializing in supporting strategic platforms used by Global Equity Derivatives business. This team is a key partner to the markets business and has been a major contributor to its success. In line with business expansion plans, and to close the gap to competition, the organization is undertaking long term programme of platform review and redevelopment.  The ability to solve challenging business problems and manage projects effectively and efficiently in a complex technical environment is vital to the success of the overall strategy

Role Overview/What will you do:

  • The BA/PM position will be responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team.
  • This is great opportunity to help transform Equities Derivatives systems into an integrated, best-in-class platform that will represent technology response to growing business ambitions in the face of industry/regulatory challenges
  • Clear, concise and accurate communication at all stages of a project 
  • Adherence to internal Citi BA/PM & SDLC standards 
  • Provision of assistance to Equities IT to facilitate delivery & issue resolution in a timely manner

Key Skills and Experience required

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst
  • Strong analytical background particularly in relation to data analysis 
  • Project management experience with proven delivery track of complex global projects and Managing Jira workflows and project progress tracking
  • SQL is essential with the ability to navigate a database and use SQL to extract data 
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Visio, JIRA & Confluence
