Citibank, N.A. seeks a Specialized Analytics Senior Lead for its Atlanta, Georgia location.

Duties: Develop and apply mathematical and statistical theory and methods to collect, organize, interpret, and summarize numerical data to provide usable information. Analyze and interpret statistical data to identify significant differences in relationships among sources of information using Python, Spark, Hive and SAS and statistical modeling techniques. Develop Machine Learning models to drive business impacts through end-to-end modeling process (model development, validation, deployment efforts, and overall model inventory management). Work with third party, credit bureau and internal data to develop, evaluate, recommend, and implement business strategies and processes. Conduct model controls to ensure model quality and compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and internal policies guidelines. Identify and compile data sets to help predict, improve, and measure success of key business outcomes. Develop and execute experimental test designs, sampling techniques, and analytical methods to test and validate models. Partner with technology to implement advanced analytics models and machine learning algorithms along with data visualization tools, including Tableau and Qlikview, to support critical operational and analytical applications. Create new model algorithm (e.g., machine learning and AI) and capabilities for model performance improvements. Create and communicate model performance, business impacts, and financial key metrics (EBIT and ROI) to senior managers and business partners. Interact with senior levels of management to facilitate understanding of usage of models and inform critical decisions. Design and develop projects for acquisitions including strategy enhancement and statistical test design.  Improve and maintain statistical and machine learning models. Identify new data sources internally or from third party vendor to incorporate and enhance existing machine learning models. Lead modeling interaction with marketing, risk, product, technology and business analytics. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Statistics, Financial Mathematics, Data Science or related quantitative field and 5 years of experience as a Business Analytics Group Manager, Business Analytics Senior Manager, DM Business Analysis Project Manager or related position involving data analytics and modeling for the financial services industry. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 7 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 5 years of experience must include: Financial and statistical modeling; Machine learning algorithms and models; Teradata; Statistical analysis; Project management; P&L banking products; Banking and lending regulations and policies. 4 years of experience must include: Hadoop, Python, Spark and Hive.
