Citi’s Reactivate your Career Program
Are you ready for a comeback?
Citi's Reactivate your Career Program is a supportive hiring program, designed to help you transition from a career break into a career within financial services. You may have already worked in the finance sector, the tech sector or another industry all together!
We value your knowledge, skills and experiences, regardless of how and where you have developed them. We believe that hiring people from different backgrounds with diverse perspectives brings advantages to our teams.
A number of programs will commence during 2024 globally and participants will benefit from a structured and in-depth induction to help them transition successfully back into the workplace, followed by a tailored program of professional development and learning delivered over a period of time, dependent on the role, country and career pathway.
Participants will undertake training as part of the program and enjoy the benefits of being part of a supportive cohort. Citi recognizes the importance of flexible working arrangements and is happy to explore these with you.
Program Locations and Details
We are delighted that the Reactivate Your Career program has expanded to multiple locations worldwide, with new cities being planned for the future.
Application dates vary depending on location, so please check back regularly for updates.
A Note from our Sponsors
“As a working parent, I understand the challenges of balancing a career and a family. I'm thrilled to be sponsoring the program. It's a wonderful opportunity for talented individuals to re-launch their career after taking time out, with extra support and flexibility to help the transition back to work.”
Milly Webb, CIO, Co-Head Global Functions Technology
Executive Sponsor
“Having hired one of the candidates in the first cohort in London, I saw first-hand the benefits of hiring an individual with a diverse background and experience. I volunteered to help with the program roll-out and become an advocate for the program leading to me taking on a global lead role to ensure smooth delivery in other locations while still sticking to the key pillars of the program. The positive feedback from our many participants globally and from our hiring managers inspires our global team to continue expanding the program in more locations.”
Rakhee Shah, EMEA Head Information Services Group and Regulatory Oversight
Global Program Lead
“I’m incredibly proud to have co-founded the program with Milly. It’s been a privilege to create a scheme with such a different approach, that creates opportunities and recognizes talent and life experiences - I genuinely think we’ve raised the bar. As the sponsor for the London program, I’m greatly looking forward to welcoming a new set of talented individuals into the Citi family.”
