The Assistant Branch Manager is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to grow sales and client base in coordination with the consumer sales team. The overall objective of this role is to grow sales, build customer loyalty and recommend the development of business strategies or initiatives and may include the management of activities by external organizations, and the direct management of individuals and sales teams.
Responsibilities:
Assist Branch Manager in sales strategy formulation, capacity planning and sales management process review to ensure sales goals are met
Assist in the development, communication and implementation of solutions that produce a consistent income stream and leverage the full investment/wealth management product array
Establish and maintain relationships with customers, increase customer account balance through sales activities, track customer communications/transactions, cross-sell and complete customer account-related administrative procedures/paperwork.
Support Branch Manager in developing, driving and implementing customer centric initiatives; handle customer issues and provide recommendations for improvement
Build working relationships within the community to advance the strategic vision of Citi and create opportunities for growth
Ensure operational and compliance activities are completed on time and according to quality standards
Complete staff hiring, development, coaching and mentoring and actively guide the wealth sales team to meet and exceed their sales targets
Conduct people management responsibilities including hiring, performance management, compensation, disciplinary actions and terminations as well as direction of daily tasks and responsibilities.
Conduct daily and weekly planning of sales activities, partner with peer group to ensure revenue and compliance targets are met
Assist in managing branch credit management and delinquency control

Qualifications:
2-5 years of relevant experience
In-depth knowledge of banking products, compliance and branch operations and procedures
Previous banking and management experience required
Proven investments technical ability and product knowledge.
Previous experience in a global investment bank
Investment sales experience
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Education:
Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
