By joining our team in the Collective Investment Services (CIS) department, you will become part of a global organization whose mission is to serve as a trusted partner to our clients by responsibly providing financial services that enable growth and economic progress. We are responsible for processing CIS orders and transfers originating from clients. Our goal is to facilitate the execution, settlement, and investigation of collective investment (fund) orders and transfers. We serve clients from Europe and Latin America, and we handle funds from all over the world.

Responsibilities:

• Execute and settle collective investment orders/transfers (Hedge Funds, Mutual Funds, Money Market, Private Equity)
• Ensure effective and professional communication with all parties involved: Funds, Transfer Agents, Clients
• Identify and resolve execution and settlement issues and make process improvement recommendations to leadership
• Monitor and suggest solutions to errors to minimize risk to the bank, through an intermediate knowledge of procedural requirements
• Escalate transaction processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborate on a solution
• Assist with control activities and the launch of new products and services
• Ensure processes adhere to audit and control policies
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• At least 1-2 years of experience in an investment bank environment
• Experience with collective investments, securities, derivatives, and funds is preferable but not required
• Fundamental understanding of collective investment schemes, finance, and regulatory policies
• Fluent English
• Client-focused communication style with  a focus on internal and external stakeholders, ability to follow-up processes with clients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as we work with strict deadlines
