Custody Transaction Management Department is currently looking to fill a specialist role in Global Settlement team that will be tasked with supporting implementation incoming migration of new Client. Embarking on this journey, you will be responsible for trade settlement, safekeeping reconciliation, supporting internal stakeholders for settlement related queries. With time you become subject matter expert and will get more complexed and responsible tasks.

Citi Custody is responsible for the safekeeping and servicing of equity assets of our clients. Being a custodian bank, we facilitate the settlement process of our client’s securities transactions, manage and process corporate actions as announced by the issuers of these securities, and assist our clients with capital gains tax payment and reclamation. Transaction Management Department is at the forefront of our Custody service, as it ensures that the clients’ settlement instructions are appropriately received and screened against sanctions lists, which in turn allows them to settle in the market that we will promptly reflect on the clients’ accounts. Citi Global Custody owns and manages its own Network and provides asset servicing and transactions function primarily to intermediaries such as Broker Dealers, Banks, and other global investors.

Your key responsibilities:

• Settlement and settlement monitoring of custody client transactions across multiple markets through Global Windows (NAM, EMEA).
• Daily contact with CSDs/ICSDs and clearing houses to ensure STP settlement or resolve any settlement issues.
• Identification and reconciliation stock and cash discrepancies for client cash and stock accounts.
• Aligning with Risk and Controls procedures for daily activities.
• Daily contact and support for internal client support teams
• Migration of the process from teams abroad
• Building safe environment to test new solutions and encourage outside the box thinking
• Business travels possible

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in Transaction Management/ Settlement/ Custody/ Asset Servicing field
• SWIFT system knowledge (mainly 54x type)
• Fluency in English
• Computer literacy
• Ability to organize work efficiently and meet deadlines
• Strong creativity, innovation, problem solving skills
• Willingness to develop and learn fast
