Middle Office Trade Processing is processing Capital Markets transactions – placing orders, confirming and settling trades, processing Voluntary Corporate Actions. The scope of instruments we cover include Equities, Bonds, FXs, Money Markets, Derivatives, Collective Investments like Mutual, Hedge, Private Equity funds. We cooperate with Brokers, Custodian Banks and Transfer Agents from all over the world on global markets (North & Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia).

The Middle Office Senior Manager is a senior management level position responsible for managing team or multiple teams in coordination with the wider Middle Office team. The overall objective of this role is to oversee the end results, delivering the high quality of processes and Client service, ensuring compliance with regulation, and effective project management.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Middle Office teams responsible for all aspects of transaction life-cycle to ensure high quality service delivered to internal and external clients
  • Build and maintain key relationships within all levels of the organization and external customers
  • Handle senior management presentations, conference calls and projects
  • Ensure effective people management and communication, talent development, retention & succession
  • Oversee the volume, quality, integrity, timeliness and delivery of daily deliverables and complex changes affecting managed processes
  • Supervise performance of trade life-cycle activities and define, develop, implement and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Effective communication and escalation of issues to all relevant stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, client service, control, and cost reduction and implement improvements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6-10 years of people management experience in financial sector
  • Excellent command of English combined with high level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Superb organizational, time management and prioritization skills
  • Attention to detail and advanced problem-solving skills
  • Proactive ‘can-do’ attitude, goal oriented, not being afraid to speak up
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word and additionally Power Point preferred)
  • SWIFT knowledge will be beneficial
  • Insight into project management will be an advantage
