We are looking for a talented ESG Legal Counsel to join legal team in Citi Handlowy. This an opportunity to work in a dynamic and strategically important area for our bank.

Responsibilities:

High-quality legal support for the bank in the scope of ESG legal regulations that apply to the bank and all its activity, consisting particular in:

  • providing ongoing legal opinions and analyses,

  • developing contract documentation and procedural solutions,

  • monitoring and communicating changes in ESG regulations,

  • assessing legal risk related to ESG issues,

  • cooperation with all bank units in the scope requiring the ESG legal support.

Qualifications:

  • Legal counsel qualifications;

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the legal support for bank / banks (as an in-house or external law office), including good knowledge of banking products and legal regulations concerning the bank;

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the handling of legal issues in the ESG area and required knowledge of ESG legal regulations that apply to the bank;

  • High ethical standards;

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and relationship management skills

  • Fluency in Polish and English;
