Compliance AML Execution Senior Manager
The Client Review & Investigation Unit (CRIU) Manager is a senior professional responsible for leading risk and compliance reviews in coordination with the broader Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team. The overall objective is to provide direction to AML team(s), participate in the development of operational standards, and communicate with other areas of the business and external clients about AML activities. This role will manage operational planning and performance, and is expected to perform all applicable management tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and develop a diverse AML team of staff with varying level of experience and knowledge towards operational excellence.
- Foster environment of collaboration, ensuring all team members understand the roles and responsibilities to achieve a common objective.
- Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions.
- Manage CRIU tasks to meet required time standards and working with regional and global counterparts to implement consistent and repeatable global methodology.
- Respond to Compliance or global leadership on proposed changes stemming from regulatory requirements for countries within the managed area.
- Support implementation and executing a thorough documentation policy, standards and corrective action plans to meet regulatory, Internal Audit and other third party expectations.
- Provide support to key regulatory audit reviews and accountability for the case review processes within the managed area.
- Escalate, manage and report control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others.
- Demonstrate particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.

Qualifications:
- 3 years’ experience in AML Transactional Monitoring.
- Experience in TL backup role preferable.
- Experience in managing others.
- Strong performance record with a history of increased responsibility, and task / project delivery.
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Certification preferred.
- Efficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s/University degree required; Master’s degree preferred
