he Services Enterprise Data Office (Services EDO) is critical to managing Citigroup's Services business to meet numerous regulatory and management reporting requirements. The Services EDO team partners with Services businesses, operations & technology, as well as Central Enterprise Data office, Global Functions including Finance, Risk, and Compliance in an enterprise-wide data quality management discipline continuously striving to improve, monitor, measure, and control data quality.

This is a senior role within the Data Capabilities team of the Services EDO organization and will be responsible to support Data Lineage, Authority Designations,  Consumption and  will support the Services EDO in various initiatives to improve data management as part of the overall data operating model.

Responsibilities:

  • Support delivery of Data Lineage and Authority Designations initiatives by supporting the establishment of procedures, playbook, governance and issue solving through escalation to Steering Committee

  • Ensure all stakeholders and contributors are adopting defined processes and executing against regulatory commitments

  • Serve as “voice of the customer” to help drive data lineage and data authority tooling capabilities for enterprise data management toolset

  • Gather, synthesize and distill detailed information to deliver crisp and succinct executive-level communication

  • Simultaneously support multiple projects including delivery and management level communications

  • Develop content for relevant governance forums

  • Support the facilitation, coordination, and arbitration of cross-functional complex problems within / across programs and with Senior Management

  • Liaise between the Enterprise Chief Data Office, Business/Functions Data Office and other key partners in the Functions and Lines of Business to progress the Data Transformation agenda

  • Support work streams focusing on broad range of Data initiatives including data requirements, issues management, lineage, and taxonomy

  • Support develop business requirements, process mapping of current and future state processes, communication applications of new processes and facilitating the change management program to move to the new process

Skills:

  • Experience in data stewardship and technical expertise in Citi technology or business

  • Expert in data lineage, authority designation related disciplines such as Taxonomies and Metadata.

  • Knowledge and experience in industry wide tools supporting lineage like Ab initio, IBM Manta, Solidatus among others

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years’ experience with defining and implementing data lineage programs in a large global bank or Big Four consulting firm.

  • Experience defining and implementing data quality programs

  • Communicates effectively, develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels

  • Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives

  • Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills across a variety of stakeholders at different levels

  • Working knowledge of Citi’s Data Operating Model

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
