Markets Operations at Citi has embarked on a significant, multi-year transformation covering all aspects of designing and delivering a future state target operating model: risk and controls, regulatory compliance, process re-engineering, automation, people and culture, data transformation, technology investment and client service. This is a large and complex undertaking.

The Markets Operations Transformation team has been formed to support stakeholders both within Operations and across the bank, to design and deliver this multi-year transformation roadmap. Our transformation is underpinned by strategy, investment, change execution and a market-leading operations change delivery team focusing on program and project management, business analysis, process re-engineering, low code application development and PMO.

The team is currently recruiting for a Data Governance & Analytics lead at the VP level to take a lead role as part of the Markets Operations Transformation team. The candidate will support Markets Operations team to execute on our Data Governance Strategy and Standards  across our teams.  The role requires a good understanding of Markets products, Operational Processes, Data Governance  and Business Intelligence.

Initial functional scope of this role will include all Data Governance functions for Markets Operations but may be subject to change as a result of business priorities, program budgets and overall transformation priorities

Responsibilities:

  • Support strategic direction, development and implementation of data quality procedures, policies and controls to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across all systems and processes.
  • Partner with Markets Ops team to assess mapping between data domains and Critical Data elements
  • Partnering with Markets Operations, Technology,  Markets Data Stewards and the Markets Business to ensure remediation of Data Concerns
  • Supports the prioritization and remediation of Data Concerns
  • Accountable for implementation of relevant controls from the Data Control Reference Library, and monitors control effectiveness

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years relevant experience
  • Demonstrate a consistent track record having worked with Transformation as a Business Analyst, Project Manager managing teams and delivery on large, strategic cross-functional projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of Global Markets and Global Markets Operations
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering change in a collaborative, agile team environment as well as more standard frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of virtual teams to deliver on strategic outcomes
  • Strong ability to establish, build and maintain strong effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, plan, organize and prioritize work within a delivery framework
  • Drives adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery as defined by Citi PM standards
  • Prior Data Analytics and / or Governance experience a plus
  • Track record of delivering and managing large, technical data programs across multiple businesses and geographies


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
  • CAPM, PMP, PgMP and/or MBA are a plus

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
