SQL Lead Analyst - C13 - Hybrid
The SQL Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
- Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
- Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
- Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
- Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
- Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of working in various data management initiatives, ideally with experience working in data warehousing and data strategy and having functional knowledge of Securities Lifecycle (cross products)
- Extremely strong Data Analytical skills along with an ability to work with numerous business and technology teams to gather requirements, document them and convert them to functional requirements
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with the application clients to gather business and functional requirements and deliver artifacts such as FRD, BRD, Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs.
- Ability to work in an agile environment
- Work with business to understand the landscape of operations and identify areas of improvement, suggest technology solutions.
- Understand and prepare work/data flows for various systems especially focused on Finance/Network Management using technology tools such as Visio, Power point.
- Work with technical developers, translate the business requirements, create project plans, track and execute work tasks against the plans.
- Write SQL queries to extract data, understand patterns, relationships amongst disparate data sets and be able to harmonize them.
- Perform logical data modeling and establishing proposed system flows.
- Develop reporting solutions using Excel, Business Objects (plus other BI tools).
- Ensure we have buy-in from all the stakeholders and track issues and manage project risks
- Facilitates team and client meetings effectively and holds regular status meetings with development team.
- Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
- Manages the process of innovative change effectively.

Data Procurement/Integration:
- Experience with database application development (Stored Procedures, PL/SQL)
- A good understanding of Data Warehouses, Marts and Cubes

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred

$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
