Operations Exchange Traded Funds Manager

Responsibilities:

• Work with Operations teams to identify opportunities for processing or risk improvement. Drive change through ideation, documentation, testing, implementation.
• Manage all operational metrics and reporting -collect and report data, enhance metrics to ensure all aspects of business are captured
• Facilitate testing and documentation for each new technology release.
• Coordinate Manager's Control Assessment with risk and other partners, ensure completeness and thoroughness         
• Coordinate SOC1 review and submissions material on behalf of teams'; ensure key functions are tested
• Manage procedures and ensure timely update with technology releases as well as annual review.
• Records management, annual data retrieval retrieval test
• Serve as a liaison between Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting and Market Data and ETF Operations teams within and among each region
• Coordinate and manage operational change requests on behalf of global ETF clients
• Manage ETF project implementations ranging in complexity from moderate to complex
• Partner with Sales, Product and Technology to define requirements to onboard new funds and clients
• Client change requests- partner with Product and Client management to provide client solutions, offer beneficial alternatives, and act as trusted advisor
• Comply with all audit, regulatory and compliance directives.
• Proactively identify/manage operational risk
• Implement best practice processes and controls to achieve high quality output and exceptional service delivery
• Continuously seek to identify opportunities for efficiency and control improvements in the process, and implement such improvements whenever possible.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent project management experience
• Minimum 15 years business experience in Financial Services
• Minimum 10 years of ETF Operations experience
• Minimum 5 years Fund Accounting and ETF project experience
• Proven track record for delivering and managing complex project / programs with a positive outcome for both the client and the firm
• Experience developing and delivering operational strategic initiatives
• Demonstrated leadership and initiative with ability to take charge and accomplish tasks in a fast paced, large global firm
• Demonstrated securities product and industry knowledge
• Ability to establish and build trust with client and senior leadership throughout the business
• Ability to work effectively and independently
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a changing work environment
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with multiple audiences in mind
• Ability to effectively manage multiple internal and external relationships and projects
• Ability to organize people and assign tasks to achieve the highest productivity
