Investment Brokerage Operation Analyst
The Investment Brokerage Operation Analyst is a seasoned professional role that applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge to enhance processes and workflows. This position integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area and requires a thorough understanding of how different areas within the sub-function integrate to achieve overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Prioritization of Requests: Ensure all pending and aged requests are prioritizes before addressing same-day items; document and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Exception Management: Review and follow up on various exceptions.
Email Management: Ensure incoming emails are acknowledged and responded to promptly.
System Issues Management: Assist with management of NetX360 system issues in collaboration with the IT support team.
Regulatory and Audit Requests: Assist with regulatory reporting requests and audit requests.
Risk and Issue Management: Identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues.
Client Concern Resolution: Manage the resolution of any client concerns.
Regulation Adherence: Ensure adherence to regulations and policies.
Additional Responsibilities: Assume additional responsibilities as requested by management.

Responsibilities:
Investment Advisory: Provide a wide variety of service and investment advice to an Ultra High Net Worth client base within the United States.
Support Senior Team Members: Help support senior members of the investment team in delivering investment solutions to clients.
Operational Guidance: Monitor and provide guidance on operational issues to the banking team relating to their client’s needs.
Relationship Development: Develop relationships and generate ideas with bankers and management to grow the asset base.
Process Collaboration: Build rapport with ISA/CSO to collaborate on creating a seamless process that enhances the services provided.
Timely Approvals: Ensure all processed requests are sent for approvals on a timely basis.
Risk Assessment: Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Efficiency Identification: Work with line SMEs to identify inefficiencies in daily tasks and processes, adding them to the Book of Work for technology solutions to increase straight-through processing and risk mitigation.
Control Framework Development: Support the development of an effective control framework that meets Audit, Compliance, and Regulatory requirements.
Business and Industry Initiatives: Provide guidance on business or industry initiatives to ensure successful implementation and sound controls.
Product and Process Understanding: Demonstrate an advanced level of understanding of products and processes and how duties integrate with others in the team.
Communication Skills: Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders, exchanging potentially complex and sensitive information.
Qualifications:
2 to 5 years of relevant experience
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Working knowledge of NetX360 for Asset Transfer.
Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Highly motivated, self-directed individual with the ability to work independently.
Strong project management and process management capabilities.
Collaborative team player and relationship builder.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Strong initiative, energy, and confidence in completing assignments.
Investigative skills and attention to detail.
