As the Head of Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) Liquidity Risk Review, you will lead the independent risk oversight and challenge of the bank's liquidity-related recovery and resolution planning, with a specific focus on evaluating the credibility of the liquidity portion. You will ensure that the bank's approach to liquidity risk under stressed and adverse conditions is robust, consistent with regulatory expectations, and aligned with the firm's risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead independent risk review and challenge of all liquidity aspects within the RRP framework, ensuring the feasibility of liquidity recovery options and credibility of recovery triggers.

* Review and challenge the liquidity portion of CCAR, focusing on liquidity stress testing, assumptions, and the firm's capacity to meet liquidity needs under the various scenarios.

* Assess the long-term bank forecast's liquidity assumptions, methodologies, and their alignment with the bank's broader liquidity risk management framework.

* Evaluate governance, decision-making structures, and escalation procedures related to liquidity risk in recovery and resolution scenarios.

* Evaluate and challenge the liquidity risk assumptions and methodologies to ensure alignment with the bank's broader liquidity risk management framework.

* Provide clear, actionable feedback and recommendations to senior management and business lines to strengthen the liquidity risk oversight and ensure alignment with the firm's risk appetite and regulatory expectations.

* Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, and Business areas while maintaining independence and objectivity in the risk review process.

* Contribute to regulatory engagements and internal audits by clearly articulating the risk perspective on liquidity risk in CCAR, RRP, and long-term forecasts.

* Stay informed on evolving regulatory frameworks and best practices to ensure the bank's liquidity risk oversight remains current and effective.

* Prepare concise and insightful presentations to senior management and the Board on liquidity risk review findings, recommendations, and emerging risks.

Key Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, risk management or a related field.

* 10+ years of experience in liquidity risk management, stress testing, CCAR, or recovery planning at a large financial institution or regulatory body.

* Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and liquidity risk stress testing methodologies.

* Proven ability to independently review, challenge, and provide risk-based recommendations on complex liquidity risk issues and long-term financial forecasts.

* Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize and present complex information to senior stakeholders.

* Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment while maintaining an independent risk perspective.
