Data Quality Sr. Analyst - Rules Implementation-Hybrid
The Data Quality Senior Analyst is responsible for the implementation and validation of Data Quality Assessments and has a key role in assisting stakeholders to define Change Management Requirements and positively contributes to Citi’s overall Data Transformation.
The Data Quality Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role, that requires using analytical and technical understanding of how areas collectively integrate to contribute to the Data Quality objectives of the Citi Data Governance Standards.
Requires good analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Perform technical implementation of business defined criteria for Data Organizations and Data Owners.
Effective communication and collaboration skills are required.
Responsibilities:
Identify data patterns and trends in available data sources using data profiling.
Accountable for understanding data quality rules driven from the profiling and assessment of critical data.
Work with Data Quality Partners to define data quality measurement, produce data quality assessments and implement data quality processes that improve data quality measurement.
Support data quality technology teams to identify and implement data quality tool improvements.
Evaluate current procedures with an eye for process improvement to enhance productivity.
Assist in the remediation of Audit and Regulatory feedback on issues and concerns.
Combine subject matter and technical expertise to ensure data quality rules are aligned to the appropriate data quality standards and the data being measured.
Utilize communication and diplomacy skills.
Responsible for project management related to assigned assessment creation.
Build data quality assessments and measurement of critical data utilized by Citi’s strategic systems and processes supporting Citi Businesses and Functions.
Interact with business and technical staff to ensure the implemented data quality scorecards are measuring data quality in line with the Enterprise Data Office requirements.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in programming or data analytics preferred.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong project management skills
Proficient in using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Demonstrated understanding of Database structures.
Proven ability to provide in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
Anticipates and balances the needs of multiple stakeholders, while monitoring tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes.
Communicates effectively in non-technical terms at all levels of the organization.
Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$87,280.00 - $130,920.00
