Procurement and Third Party Management (P&TPM) Supplier Oversight has end-to-end responsibility and accountability to design and ensure proper execution of Citi’s Third Party Management (TPM) policies, standards, and related processes. P&TPM Supplier Oversight Program focuses on external third parties considered critical to Citi’s businesses and operations firmwide, by providing enhanced oversight and ensuring key risks for these third parties are identified, managed, and remediated.

The Critical Parent Supplier (CPS) Lead is a strategic professional who will maintain awareness of the entire CPS inventory managed by the CPS Team and contributes / supports the directional strategy by each CPS.  Requires basic supplier awareness as there is a team within the CPS Program who monitor the critical suppliers in a more detailed fashion and are the true CPS SME. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through strategic deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the Third-Party Management operations. Work impacts the entire enterprise, which may eventually affect Citi.



Responsibilities:

  • Manages the team which identifies Critical Parent Suppliers and performs various Supplier Oversight activities, including Day-to-Day management of CPS program and team activities and requests which may arise.
  • Ensures the performance of all annual Integrated Assessment activities and documentation occur to confirm sufficient controls are used by critical third parties.  Also ensures quality control analysis of Integrated Assessment Final Reports.
  • Ensures the monitoring scorecard performance results and maintaining third party profiles, including risk status and trends, which facilitates the timely completion of Supplier Profiles and Briefing Books with supportable conclusions on the overall risk posture, including quality control analysis of both.
  • Ensures the identification and assignment of Executive Owners and Business Supplier Managers, including Roles & Responsibilities, program schedule and key milestones, for any applicable CPS, which then includes semi-annual briefings with them to facilitate strategic awareness and decision-making abilities.
  • Applies in-depth understanding of how the CPS area collectively integrates with other functions, such as TPISA, ER, CART, AVA, TPCRG, TPM Ops, etc, which contribute to the objectives of the entire program and requires basic understanding.
  • Ensures creation of thorough work papers that document how risks are identified, analyzed, and reported and provide detailed input on issue capture, corrective action planning, and remediation.
  • Ensures the preparation of action items post business/executive and Third-Party engagement to confirm risk reduction opportunities and remediation steps
  • Supports enhanced design and development of Supplier Oversight activities.
    Providing additional ad-hoc Third-Party Risk Management support for various projects, as needed.
  • Ensures all areas of the program are appropriately staffed.
  • Escalates program risks to the Global CPS Manager, when appropriate.
  • Makes recommendations for training and development needs for assigned personnel.
  • Evaluates CPS team’s performance and makes performance recommendations.
  • Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining procedures/standards.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency..

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of direct, relevant experience in third party management, risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and remediation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written, with ability to articulate complex and sensitive issues in succinct manner
  • Experience in working with global, cross-functional teams and navigating large organizations is preferred.
  • Strong relationship management skills with ability to deepen relationships and build partnerships across the enterprise.
  • Negotiate skills with external parties.
  • Strong reporting and data 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$103,920.00 - $155,880.00
